The Unistream US15 PLC HMI (Built-In IO) comes in three variants: U15-B10-B1 / U15-C10-B1, all part of the UniStream® Modular PLC & HMI Series, offering a large high‑resolution touchscreen paired with a modular, high‑performance PLC system designed for flexible and scalable industrial automation.

With easy expansion and the option to have I/O mounted on the rear of the screen, plus/or distributed I/O using generic I/O modules on easily integrated expansion modules, and many network options, including IO-Link, Ethernet IO, CANbus.

US15 Range

Unistream US15 is a highly modular range of combined HMI and PLC units from Unitronics, enabling you to create a compact control solution with a configuration tailored to your application.

The UniStream system offers simple programming of the virtual HMI & PLC in a single environment, using the free UniLogic software package—a major step forward with excellent graphics capabilities and fast code development.

This range of UniStream PLCs, with built-in I/O and an integrated HMI, offers a powerful CPU with multiple I/O options and is available in 4 variations. The B5, C5, B10 and the C10. All of these variations are identical in physical size, but the more capable B10/C10 version supports Audio and Video playback, Web server screens and SQL functionalities. The C5 & C10 versions are identical to their B5 & B10 counterparts, but the C variants come with UniCloud preloaded and include a 5-year Start-up Subscription plan with no monthly fee.

These versions can act as an ftp server or client and can communicate using a variety of industry standard protocols such as CANbus, EtherNet IP, Modbus and SNMP.
An inbuilt Web server on the B10/C10 versions allows HTML pages to be displayed in a web browser, with pages created with a single button press.

Fast response times with real-time task execution on a 15.6″ Touchscreen with EtherCAT & EtherCAT motion. Expand your IO configuration with regular Uni-I/O modules on the back of the HMI and remotely, as well as utilising Ethernet remote I/O and IO-Link modules

CPU is built into the new 5″, 7″, 10.1″ & 15.6″ UniStream, so no need to worry – you are already getting the super fast new Unitronics processor.
With the new 5″, 7″, 10.1″ & 15.6″ built-in IO model, you can choose whether you want just the HMI panel or expand with IO/Com modules – these can be attached using the UAG expansion adapters.
Download and install the intuitive, easy-to-use UniLogic Programming Software to seamlessly program your HMI and PLC simultaneously in the same environment.
You will then have a compact control solution, complete with an easy-to-program HMI and PLC, tailored to your specific requirements.

UniStream built in PLCs has IO built in to the back of the PLC/HMI.
If you would like IO to be placed away from the PLC and DIN-rail mounted, then an Expansion cable/ EXP Kit is required. The Expansion cables/ EXP-CX kits below range from 1.25M to 30M & will enable the use of any UniStream IO to be mounted away from the PLC.

If you would like to connect remote IO over CANbus then the following Expansion adaptor is required.

The EX-RC1 adaptor is a stand alone network adaptor that connects to up to eight IO modules via ribbon cables but then connects to the master PLC on a CANbus network. The CANbus cable is user supplied.

The EX-RC1 Expansion module can be connected to a UniStream PLC to allow the use of DIN-rail mounted IO modules over CANbus.
